Origami Bat

1.  Start with your paper coloured side up. Fold in half, then in half again, as shown. Crease well, then open out again.

2.  Turn the paper over and fold in half diagonally and in both directions. Crease well and open out once again.

3.  Holding the points shown, bring them both down to the centre point on the bottom line.  Flatten model. 

4. Diagram is enlarged.
Cut with scissors along the dotted line - across all layers.

5. Turn over and fold top layer in toward centre line.

6. Mountain fold backwards
along crease shown.

7. Fold top layer to the left

8. Turn over and fold top layer to the left.

9. Turn over and fold tip downwards along crease shown. Make sure this crease lines up with the top of the cuts you made in step 4: the ears should pop up behind!
